Colin Farrell has a new girlfriend at last
COLIN FARRELL has revealed his search for a new girlfriend is over at last.
The 41-year-old Irish heart-throb shared his romantic update after he was spotted puckering up to a mystery woman two weeks ago at the Anthony Joshua title fight in Cardiff.
He said he enjoys travelling the world with his new lady, adding she is not in showbiz. ‘Oftentimes we’re two ships passing in the night,’ explained the star of The Beguiled. ‘But we make sure to find a port that we can rendezvous at.’
Farrell said their lives are compatible because ‘she travels a lot in her work and works very hard’. Adding that they have been dating for ‘quite a while now’ he said he was happy and ‘I adore her’. Farrell has two sons — James, 14, with model Kim Bordenave, and Henry, eight, with actress Alicja Bachleda-Curus.
In 2015 he admitted he had been on a five-year dry spell when it comes to love, admitting: ‘It’s not that I don’t get lonely sometimes, but I’m okay with it.’
At one stage he was considering dating apps. ‘Friends who have met people on dating sites have had good relationships,’ he said. ‘Why is it a bastion of honesty to chat someone up at 6am in a club with a bellyful of Jack Daniel’s? That’s not exactly the real you either.’
