Coleen Nolan: I cried for ten days straight after Kim Woodburn bust-up

COLEEN NOLAN has confessed that trolls left her in tears for ten days after a bruising encounter with Kim Woodburn.
Returning to Loose Women today after a three-month break, the TV personality and singer said she became a target for ‘horrendous’ online abuse after the on-air spat — which came as she was dealing with divorce from her second husband Ray as well as grieving for late sister Bernie and worrying about cancer-stricken sibling Linda.
Coleen and Kim first fell out while appearing together on Celebrity Big Brother, and the joint Loose Women appearance had been intended to patch up their differences.
Instead the opposite occurred, with both women ending up in tears and former How Clean Is Your House? presenter Kim storming off the set.
Opinions were split, but many people believed Coleen had bullied Kim and she subsequently came in for an online drubbing at what was an already difficult time in her life.
Today, however, Coleen seemed to have the full backing of the popular daytime show’s audience as she received a standing ovation.

The 53-year-old told them: ‘Don’t make me cry. Everyone’s been great and it’s like coming home.’
Speaking to the Mirror, Nolan said: ‘I must have cried for ten days after deciding to take a break — and I am someone who doesn’t cry easily. But I think I’ve come out stronger.
‘It’s just horrendous. They almost think they have a right because you are in the public eye.
‘At the time I thought, “I don’t know how to deal with this,” and that brought to the surface everything I was trying to deal with. I was trying to get my divorce sorted and sell my house. I was grieving for Bernie and Linda’s secondary cancer diagnosis.’
Later on the show the team conducted a pigs-in-blankets taste test especially for presenter Janet Street-Porter after she admitted last year that she’d never heard of the tasty festive treat.
