Clooney gets a daddy ribbing from pals

HE may be many people’s idea of male perfection, but that doesn’t mean George Clooney is immune to being mocked by his mates.
Officially confirming his wife Amal’s pregnancy for the first time during an interview with French TV programme Rencontres de Cinema, the Ocean’s Eleven star looked radiant about his impending parenthood.
‘We are really happy and really excited,’ he said, adding: ‘It’s going to be an adventure. We’ve sort of embraced it all… with arms wide open.’
But while his pals have mostly been supportive, they wouldn’t be doing their job if they didn’t prepare him for the worst.
‘”It’s great, you’re going to love it,”‘ they said, according to George. ‘Then it got really quiet, and they all just started making baby crying noises. And the whole table just busted up laughing.’
The twins, thought to be a boy and a girl after George’s mother let slip the news on Facebook, are believed to be due in June.
