Check it out! Drake shops in The Co-op

HE’S the biggest music star on the planet right now — but Drake proved his feet are still firmly on the ground by popping into a Co-op supermarket to buy sweets.
The Hotline Bling singer was shopping in Walsall, West Midlands, 24 hours after the latest sell-out show of the UK leg of his Boy Meets World tour.
The Canadian, who has dated Rihanna and Jennifer Lopez, stunned staff as he stepped out with local singer Jorja Smith, who had opened his shows at Birmingham’s Barclaycard Arena last Wednesday and Thursday.
Part-time cashier Josh Letford, a friend of Jorja’s, said: ‘It had been a normal Friday night. I was on the till, my manager was at the back office and the store was empty when two people walked in at around 8.30pm. I saw the man first — he was really tall — then the girl who I knew.
He went on: ‘I’ve known Jorja since we were kids. We had a brief chat about how we were doing and then I clocked Drake. Jorja turned to him and said “I know Josh, he’s alright”. Drake gave me a grin, said “hey” and shook my hand. I couldn’t believe it.’ The student, 22, added: ‘I was just thinking, “What the hell is Drake doing in my Co-op?”.
‘Drake was really chilled. I told him I did music too and joked we should do a track. He laughed and said “sure!”’
After selling Jorja some hard boiled sweets, Josh asked Drake for a selfie. ‘He was happy to pose with me,’ he said. The star, 30, seems sweet on Jorja, 19. He gave the BBC Sound of 2017 hopeful shout-outs at recent gigs and has said of her track Where Did I Go: ‘On an 18-hour flight, this song will keep you sane.’
