Charlotte Church gets wed ‘under a tree’

CHARLOTTE CHURCH has wed in a secret ceremony held ‘under a tree’, it was revealed yesterday.
The singer exchanged vows with musician Jonathan Powell in front of family and friends.
They officially tied the knot at a register office, followed hours later by a blessing party in the garden of their home in Dinas Powys, near Cardiff.
Charlotte’s mum Maria, 51, was a witness at the official ceremony held at St David’s suite of Cardiff register office.
The Crazy Chick singer, 31, who is worth a reported £9million, began dating Jonathan in 2010 after splitting from rugby star Gavin Henson, who is the father of her children Ruby, ten, and Dexter, eight.
‘Charlotte and Jonathan have been in love for a long time and a wedding was always on the cards,’ a source told Mail Online.
‘They wanted to keep things low-key and swore all guests to secrecy. Jonathan’s been a great influence on Charlotte, she has calmed down a lot since she met him,’ the insider added.
The couple’s wedding last month came three months after Church announced she had suffered a miscarriage.
