Caged Taylor Swift keeps crowd in suspense
IT was a case of ‘Philadelphia, we have a problem’, when Taylor Swift got stuck in a cage during her latest Reputation world tour show.
The singer became suspended high in the air when a basket carrying her from the main stage to a smaller platform conked out mid-set.
Taylor, who was singing Delicate at the US city’s Lincoln Financial Field on Saturday when the glitch hit, joked with fans: ‘Pretty sure I am stuck up here. It’s a nice view, though.’
Keeping her cool, the 28-year-old sang impromptu acapella versions of her hits Our Song and Wildest Dreams as her crew worked to free her.
As her cage moved up and down, not across the stadium, she laughed: ‘I’m just chilling waiting to figure out what happens next.’
