Bojo’s dad and Corrie’s Jennie join I’m A Celebrity jungle crew

BORIS JOHNSON might find campfire chats on I’m A Celebrity hard to watch as his dad Stanley prepares to enter the TV jungle.
The 77-year-old, who is likely to serve up a tale or two about the foreign secretary, was made joint favourite to be crowned king of the jungle, after landing in Brisbane yesterday.
The writer and ex-Tory MEP said he was ‘excited’ to be joining the ITV show. It came as Boris faces calls to quit over his handling of a case involving a British mum jailed in Iran.
Others taking part include Coronation Street actress Jennie McAlpine, 33, who plays Fiz Brown, and boxer Amir Khan, 30. The Saturdays singer Vanessa White, Made In Chelsea star Georgia Toffolo, ex-footballer Dennis Wise and YouTube vlogger Jack Maynard have also landed in Australia. The series starts at 9pm on Sunday.
