Blood lust… I nicked porn, admits R-Patz
ROBERT PATTINSON has confessed he was expelled from school for stealing porn and selling it.
The shy and retiring actor, best-known for his vampire role in the Twilight films, owned up to his rebellious teens when he admitted flogging X-rated mags and tapes to his schoolmates.
The 31-year-old Londoner, educated at East Sheen’s Tower House School and The Harrodian School in Barnes, told US radio jock Howard Stern: ‘I was stealing porno magazines and selling them at school.
‘No one knew at all what to do with them, though. I’d sell them for a lot of money. I used to go in [the shop] and take one or two, and put them in my bag. I was in my school uniform when I was doing it, and it was kind of risky. At the end, I got so cocky that I would take the entire rack.’
Recalling when he was finally busted, he said: ‘I remember the guy who worked in the store shouting, “Hey!” and my two friends ran off. I walked back up to him. I hadn’t zipped up my bag. This guy is pulling out all these porno magazines. I was sitting there humiliated with all the old people looking at me, disgusted.
‘I was like, “Don’t call the cops, call my parents”, and I was trying to make up a lie of where I lived… I was terrible. A couple of days later, everything fell down. Every single one of my friends snitched on me.’
R-Patz also admitted that he and 29-year-old singer FKA twigs, are ‘kind of’ engaged. He said he would like to be more open but ‘there is a crack troop of crazies who think every decision you’re making is creating some kind of conspiracy’.
