Blacklash? Joanna Lumley wants to pay tribute in colour at Baftas

NEW EE Baftas host Joanna Lumley clearly didn’t get the memo after it was revealed that celebrities are being urged to wear black to the ceremony on Sunday.
Guilty Pleasures can reveal that organisers pinged an ‘open letter’ to the VIPs expected at London’s Royal Albert Hall, inviting them to boycott colour in support of Hollywood’s anti-sexual harassment stance for Time’s Up.
However, as reported in yesterday’s Metro, the Ab Fab star, 71, said of the Golden Globes: ‘If you weren’t wearing black you were virtually saying, “I am Harvey Weinstein’s mistress”. I would love to wear a colour. I love flamboyance and our industry and I want to celebrate it.’
