Beckhams celebrate 18th wedding anniversary
THE Beckhams have marked their 18th wedding anniversary by sharing sweet throwback snaps on Instagram.
The couple tied the knot on July 4, 1999, and are parents to four children.
Posting on Instagram about their special day, they both wished each other a happy anniversary.
Sharing a snap of the pair wearing matching Versace black leather ensembles back in 1999, David wrote: ‘Wow we really did this. Happy Anniversary to an amazing wife, mummy and strong business woman Love you x.’
David, 42, previously admitted that he and Victoria were both embarrassed by the leather look, telling H&M; magazine: ‘Me and Victoria wore matching black leather outfits once (sic). They were Versace. But that’s one when I look back and am like, “What were we thinking?”
‘We laugh about that one. I remember that it’s really good until you do it as a couple. I look back on some stuff and think I can’t believe I actually wore that. I have no regrets, though — I knew at the time it was good.’
Fashion designer Victoria, 43, chose one of their wedding day photos in which their eldest child, Brooklyn, is pictured at just four months old. She wrote: ‘I love you Kisses x.’
Her old Spice Girls bandmate Melanie Chisholm commented on the snap to wish them a happy anniversary.
Their children Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper also did their bit to help their parents celebrate their big day with Victoria revealing they had put on a delicious breakfast for them, complete with balloons reading 18.
