Bebe Rexha whiffed upon a star — and ended up writing for Rihanna

US SINGER Bebe Rexha should have been able to smell that success was on the way after she went from selling perfume to Rihanna to writing her a hit track.
Rexha (pictured above) struck gold in 2013 when she penned RiRi and Eminem’s smash-hit The Monster. But she first encountered her idol while working in the department store Saks Fifth Avenue.
The 29-year-old, who featured on Rita Ora’s hit Girls this year, told Good Morning Britain: ‘I sold perfume to Rihanna.
‘She came to the counter with red lipstick, sunglasses on. I had no idea that a year later I would have written a No.1 song she would have been on. It changed my life.’
