Are Zac Efron and Alexandra Daddario just friends?

ZAC EFRON and co-star Alexandra Daddario seem to be getting on swimmingly — after pouring cold water on claims they are dating.

The pair play on-screen lovers in baby oiled-blockbuster Baywatch, but insist life didn’t imitate art once the cameras stopped rolling.

‘We work together, he’s my love interest in the film,’ Daddario, 31, told E! ‘I understand why people would go crazy over that, but Zac and I are very good friends.’

The brunette beauty was all smiles in a striking red frock as she joined Efron at a New York screening on Monday.

The rumour mill went into overdrive earlier this month when the pair puckered up backstage at the MTV Movie & TV Awards. Daddario also shared a shot of herself tucked up in her hotel room bed — with Efron’s reflection in a mirror above her.
