Ant flies in to jungle after battling his drug demons
ANT MCPARTLIN showed he is back on form — but minus a wedding ring — as he returned to the I’m A Celebrity jungle after taking time out of the spotlight.
The 41-year-old Geordie presenter showed off his toned physique when he splashed around a poolside with presenter side-kick Dec Donnelly.
McPartlin jetted to Australia without his 41-year-old wife Lisa Armstrong, who was spotted in London smiling at the weekend with her ring on.
He flew to the Queensland coast after months keeping a low profile following revelations that he was battling with booze and drugs.
McPartlin will be on hand for the annual welcoming of a fresh batch of celebrities who will have to endure the horrors of the Australian rainforest.
Those arriving in the Gold Coast ahead of the show’s debut on Sunday included boxer Amir Khan, 30, who revealed he had mended his troubled marriage before flying out.
Joining him will be The Saturdays singer Vanessa White, 28, ex-footballer Dennis Wise, 50, Hollyoaks star Jamie Lomas, 42, Made In Chelsea’s Georgia Toffolo, 22, and the brother of singer Conor Maynard, 22-year-old YouTube sensation Jack Maynard. England player Jamie Vardy’s wife, Rebekah, 35, was also seen heading to the airport.
