Annie Lennox ‘scouted’ by radio station

A CLUELESS radio station employee hilariously embarrassed herself by ‘discovering’ Eurythmics singer Annie Lennox.
The mix-up came to light when the eight-time Brit Awards winner and four-time Grammy star, posted on Facebook a letter she’d received from an LA radio station.
The writer, Kylie, explained she was the ‘New Music Coordinator’ who ‘came across Lennox’s music online and really liked what I heard’.
Kylie went on to explain that she finds ‘artists who I think have potential and get them in rotation on our station’ and suggested that Annie send over an MP3.
She even asked what sort of ‘support campaign’ Annie has going on for her ‘single’ and said that, ‘if they really like your music, they’ll cover all of the marketing expenses’.
Luckily, Lennox saw the funny side, kindly blanking out any names that would make the radio station identifiable and captioning the post: ‘I think I’m in with a chance ??!!!’
