Allison is just one of the Girls when it comes to sex scenes
GIRLS star Allison Williams says she has no fear of sex scenes after fulfilling the show’s more eyebrow-raising requirements.
In an exclusive chat with Guilty Pleasures On TV, the actress told us she had to leave her inhibitions at the bedroom door to play Marnie.
‘I am so accustomed to sex scenes, having the weird distinction of having done the most on Girls, thank you very much,’ laughed Allison.
‘I consider them part of the job and, as long as I’m not fully naked, we’re cool and I’m down to do it. There are very few things I can read in a script that will make me bat an eyelid in terms of, “Hmm, I wonder if I really want to do that?”’
The 28-year-old then recalled a particularly strange incident on set with series creator and co-star Lena Dunham, who plays Hannah.
‘Before I filmed a scene where Marnie pleasures herself, I was nervous,’ Allison explained. ‘Lena asked if I wanted to talk about it and we stepped into her dressing room.’
She asked Lena, 30, to show her what she had in mind, adding: ‘It was basically two girls pretending to masturbate. I thought, “my job is so weird”.’
The sixth and final series of Girls premieres on Now TV and Sky Atlantic at 10pm on Monday.
