Alice Merton: Why I couldn’t party with The Killers

NEWCOMER Alice Merton still can’t see the (Mr) Brightside after turning down a chance to party with The Killers.

Speaking exclusively to GP, the No Roots singer, 24, said she was invited to join Brandon Flowers and the lads after gigging with them in California last year.

‘I had been up for 24 hours, I was so tired… “I’m so sorry, I’m going to regret this for the rest of my life but I have no energy, I can’t,”’ she sighed.

Alice has just released her latest single, Lash Out.
