Adele gets the drinks in Down Under
ADELE kicked off her first Australian tour in spectacular style — by shooting cash into the crowd.
Taking to the stage in Perth yesterday, the Rolling In The Deep singer was obviously feeling flush as she used a T-shirt gun to shoot memorabilia shirts into the audience — with $20 bills attached.
Having said Hello in this unusual fashion, Adele urged her fans to go ‘buy a drink’ on her.
She also admitted to feeling rather flushed in a different sense.
Taking to the stage wearing a long sequinned dress, she said: ‘The weight is going to fall off of me on this tour. The sweat is dripping down my thighs.’
The famously sweary singer also shared her irritation at the Aussie press having disturbed her rehearsal earlier in the day with ‘f***ing helicopters’.
‘They annoyed me, they revealed my dress and everything,’ she said. ‘I wanted it to be a surprise for you.’
