A peri-fect date… Jack and Dani off to Nando’s

AFTER their success on Love Island, you wouldn’t think Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham needed to spice up their romance any more.

But the first thing they wanted to do back on UK soil was to have a cheeky Nando’s.

Dani and Jack won the ITV2 reality show after legions of viewers were charmed by their blossoming romance.

Pen salesman Jack, 26, described the fans’ reaction as ‘surreal’, adding: ‘I don’t know what to do with myself. It’s weird being back in England.’

Asked what he was looking forward to the most, it seemed he’s a fan of peri-peri chicken. ‘I just want to go for a Nando’s, that is all I want to do,’ Jack replied. ‘I’ve missed it, I’ve realised how much I genuinely like it since being away from it.’

And it’s clearly just right for a (red) hot date as Dani, 22, chipped in: ‘We are going to go together, we are going to do everything together.’

The aspiring actress said she had enjoyed finally spending a night alone together after two months of sharing a bedroom with their fellow contestants. ‘We were tired, but it was nice to be back out,’ she said.

The couple have been in constant touch with their families since winning Love Island on Monday. ‘We haven’t stopped ringing them,’ joked Dani. ‘We are driving them mad.’

Speaking of her dad, EastEnders’ hard man Danny, 41, she said: ‘He honestly is so happy for us, it is overwhelming, I never thought he would be so happy.’ Jack added: ‘Isn’t it good he actually approves? We are mates now.’

The pair’s next step will be moving in together and Jack says they will start house-hunting soon.
